On October 14, 2025, the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) collaborated with the Vietnam Post Corporation (Vietnam Post) to organize an insightful field trip and practical orientation program for nearly 200 final-year students from the Faculty of Business Administration 1. The initiative aimed to provide students with direct exposure to corporate environments, enhancing their industry insights and preparing them for their upcoming career journeys.

As part of the program, the students visited the Northern Transport and Logistics Center—one of Vietnam Post’s most critical logistics hubs. The center processes approximately 500 tons of cargo daily, utilizing a massive transit network that includes 227 inter-provincial routes, 197 international routes, and 32 specialized KT1 routes. Here, students observed real-world operations, modern warehouse management technologies, and an automated sorting system capable of handling tens of thousands of parcels per hour. All operational data is updated in real-time, ensuring continuous monitoring, control, and optimization of the transit process.

At Vietnam Post’s headquarters, the students toured the Intelligent Operations Center (IOC), which manages and monitors sorting and transport operations nationwide. Powered by advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data, and the Internet of Things (IoT), the IOC functions as the central “brain.” It aggregates data, monitors processes, coordinates tasks, and facilitates real-time operational decision-making. This ensures the postal network operates at peak efficiency and that all customer parcels flow smoothly, securely, and on schedule.

The next stop on the itinerary was the Vietnam Post Traditional Hall. The exhibits trace the historic journey of the postal sector, from the earliest telegrams to today’s smart logistics networks. The experience provided students with a deeper understanding of the postal industry’s values and its profound socioeconomic contributions to the country.

A key highlight of the program was the career orientation and networking session. Representatives from the corporation shared insights into recruitment standards, job requirements, and the corporate working environment at Vietnam Post. This practical information, aligned closely with industry hiring demands, allows students to self-assess their competencies, identify key strengths, and proactively cultivate the necessary skills and knowledge for life after graduation.
